Masked men stage armed smash and grab at St Catharines jewelry store – bayobserver.ca Hamilton, Burlington and GTA

Niagara police are searching for three masked suspects who ransacked the Kavar Jewelry store in St Catharine’s Pen Centre Mall during dinner on Friday.

According to Niagara police, three male suspects entered Kavar Jewelers and smashed display cases, taking items and wielding a firearm before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspects then fled through the rear entrance of the mall in a stolen gray Honda CRV with Ontario marking AVAZ 426.

There were no physical injuries during the robbery.

Suspect 1 is described as:

– Male

– Dark skin

– About 20 years old

Suspect 2 is described as

– Male

– Black

– About 20 years old

– Heavily built

Suspect 3 is described as follows:

– Male

– Black

– About 20 years old

All three suspects wore black gloves and blue medical masks.

Detectives are asking any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the area at that time to contact them at (905) 688-4111, press option 3, extension 1009356.
