The Edmonton Oilers have made seven selections for the 2024 Upper Deck NHL Draft June 28-29 at the Sphere in Las Vegas.

On Friday, the Oilers advanced to the first round of the draft by acquiring the 32nd overall pick from the Philadelphia Flyers and using the pick to acquire London Knights center Sam O’Reilly.

From Day 2 on Saturday, the Oilers selected top European goalkeeper Eemil Vinni from HIFK of Finland’s Liiga in the second round before waiting until the fifth round to take Flint Firebirds’ winger Connor Clattenburg.

Edmonton had two picks in both the sixth and seventh rounds, with defenseman Albin Sundin (Frölunda HC) and midfielder Dalyn Wakely (North Bay Battalion) selected 183rd and 190th respectively, before concluding their draft with another London Knight in midfielder William Nicholl and defenseman Bauer Berry of the USHL’s Muskegon Lumberjacks.
