Nutella’s latest promotional campaign promises to bring the beauty of Canada to the breakfast table and puts one of Saskatchewan’s most memorable landmarks in the spotlight.

Castle Butte is one of 13 stunning landscapes featured on the limited edition jars of chocolate hazelnut spread.

Located in the Big Muddy Badlands near the community of Big Beaver, this Ice Age relic made of sandstone and clay rises approximately 200 feet above the valley floor.

Castle Butte offers 360-degree views of the surrounding landscape and is also home to the Sam Kelly Outlaw Caves and the Buffalo Effigy.

Each of the 13 different jars also contains a unique, provincially inspired recipe. Saskatchewan’s are Saskatoon Berry Turnovers.

The limited time investment is similar to another promotional campaign, which used Kit Kat chocolate bars to promote roadside attractions.

Montmartre, Sask. was featured in Nestlé’s 2023 campaign. Bars featuring the city’s signature attraction – a 1/38 scale model of the Eiffel Tower – were sold across Canada.
