Golf Saskatchewan’s second series of Provincial Amateur Championships continues today and runs through Friday with the 105e Saskatchewan Women’s Amateur and Women’s Mid-Amateur, plus the 113e Saskatchewan Men’s Amateur and Men’s Mid-Amateur events will be contested at the Royal Regina Golf Club. Both the Women’s Championships and the Men’s Mid-Amateur will play the second of three rounds today, while the Men’s Amateur will play the second of four rounds today. The first tee time is at 7am today with a total of 160 players competing with spots in national championships at stake.

The World Baseball and Softball Congress (WBSC) Men’s Fastpitch-Softball World Cup Group B qualifying tournament begins today and runs through Sunday in Prince Albert. Six national teams will compete in the round-robin plus playoffs format – Canada, New Zealand, Argentina, Israel, Singapore and Hing Kong.
