Two people injured after two-vehicle collision in Kitchener

Charges are expected following a crash Wednesday morning near Fischer Hallman Road and Westmount Road East, according to Waterloo Regional Police.

According to police, the collision occurred around 6:45 a.m. and involved two vehicles.

The driver and passenger of a Dodge vehicle, a 34-year-old and a 40-year-old from Kitchener, were taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The intersection was closed for several hours due to the investigation.

Police have not yet released a statement on the cause of the crash, but say they are still investigating.
