AFC Wimbledon have announced the departure of Rob Tuvey as first-team coach.

In 2012, he first joined the AFC Wimbledon Foundation as a coach.

Tuvey then joined the academy as a coach and rose through the ranks to a senior position, culminating in the U18s in 2019.

In 2021 he was promoted to the first team under Mark Robinson and has played alongside Johnnie Jackson and Terry Skiverton for the past two seasons.

Tuvey said: “After 14 incredible years, I am saying goodbye to AFC Wimbledon. It has been an honour to represent the club in the academy and first team.

“I am immensely proud of the players who have made the transition from youth academy to professional football and the role I have played in their journey.

“I hope my dedication and passion have contributed to the legacy at AFC Wimbledon and I will look back fondly on all the experiences I have shared with players and fans.

“I would like to thank all the managers, staff and players I have worked with over the years. AFC Wimbledon has a special place in my heart and I would like to wish everyone at the club and all the supporters the very best for the future.”
