“Even I was stunned and stuttered a little when I spoke to him, to my surprise, when I saw how fluently he spoke English,” reads the caption of the video shared on Instagram.

A text inserted in the video reads: “Today I met a very surprised gentleman who is a car driver. We had a very nice conversation, but for me it was very surprising that he speaks fluent English and is trying to educate people to learn an interesting language.”

“What I’m telling you, listen to me very carefully, if you know English, you can go to London, Paris, America… If you don’t know English, you can’t go there,” the motorist said in the video.

He then gave an example to emphasize the importance of English. The car driver added that if you are in a hotel in London and the waiter asks for a glass full of water, he will give you a glass full of water. And if you say this in Marathi (he then says the same in Marathi), the waiter will ask you to leave.

“That’s why I tell you, you learn English, you speak English. It’s an international language,” he claimed.
