A man is accused of filling a home and storage facility with stolen goods, weapons and drugs worth more than half a million dollars.

On June 26, officers with the Winnipeg Police Service executed search warrants at a home in the 800 block of William Avenue and at a storage facility in the city. More than $540,000 in stolen property was found and seized, the WPS said in a news release Tuesday.

The stolen goods included bicycles, watches, jewelry, mobile phones and computers.

Multiple weapons were seized, along with drugs. The WPS said the methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine have a combined street value of more than $60,000.

John Paul Schooley, 53, has been charged with multiple weapons, drug and theft offenses.

He has been taken into custody, police said.
