RCMP searching for late-departed K-Country hiker from Edmonton

Police are looking for a hiker who arrived home late and has not had contact with his family for days.

Turner Valley RCMP say officers were called Saturday about a late-arriving hiker. The family of 66-year-old Milenko Todic of Edmonton reported they last heard from their loved one at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 5.

They say it’s unusual not to hear from him for so long when he’s out walking.

According to the RCMP, Todic was hiking in Kananaskis near Holy Cross Mountain, just off Highway 541.

According to police, he is 1.85 meters tall, weighs 82 kilos, has gray hair and a white skin color.

Anyone with information about Todic’s whereabouts is asked to contact Turner Valley RCMP at 403-933-4262.
