Calgary police are asking for the public’s help in locating a senior citizen who has been missing since Monday.

Elizabeth, 68, was last seen at her home in the 1400 block of Joliet Avenue SW at 8:30 a.m.

Nothing has been heard from Elizabeth since then.

“Elizabeth’s family is concerned for her welfare and our search for her throughout the day was unsuccessful,” police said.

According to police, she is believed to be driving a gray 2020 Nissan Qashqai with the Alberta license plate MDN 259.

She is described as 1.60 meters tall, of average build and blond or gray hair.

She was wearing black clothes, probably sweatpants and a turtleneck.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234.

You can also leave tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.

REMARK: Calgary police announced earlier this year that will no longer share the last names of those reported missing or sharing details about whether any of these individuals are deceased will now be standard procedure.
