7-Eleven in Winnipeg adds beer to menu

CTV News Winnipeg reports that a 7-Eleven located at 3031 Ness Avenue in Winnipeg’s Sturgeon Creek neighbourhood has been granted a licence to sell beer, whisky, cider and ready-to-drink beverages to customers.

The permit was granted by the Manitoba Alcohol, Gambling and Cannabis Authority (LGCA) in June.

According to the report, the 7-Eleven store recently opened a dining area that can seat up to 10 customers with verified age, who can order and consume their alcoholic beverages on the spot.
