Three new Aldi stores will open in London in the coming months, the supermarket has announced. It is part of the budget retailer’s plan to open a total of 11 new stores across the UK.

The new London stores will open in North and East London, with a store expected to open in Leytonstone ‘in the near future’. Stores will also open in Beckton and Holloway Road in the coming months. The store openings are part of Aldi’s long-term plan to open 1,500 new stores across the UK.

“At Aldi, we want to ensure that everyone has access to high-quality, yet affordable food, which is why we are continually expanding our operations in the UK,” said Jonathan Neale, Aldi UK’s Director of Real Estate.

“We’ve already opened several new stores this year, from Skelmersdale in Lancashire and Newport in Wales to Castle Gresley in Derbyshire and High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, and now we’re excited to bring Aldi to even more communities in the coming months.”
