Following a tip from the public, Ottawa police have identified and charged two suspects in a road rage incident.

Gabriella Maiorani, 20, of Ottawa, was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon. Cody Chauvin, 26, faces three charges, including aggravated assault. Police are seeking a warrant for his arrest.

The charges stem from an incident on April 13. Police say the suspects had some sort of altercation with a bicyclist, an unidentified woman in her 50s, on Rideau St. A man in a pickup truck witnessed the altercation and ended up in the same parking lot with the suspects on King Edward. Chauvin allegedly exited the Toyota he was a passenger in and stabbed the driver of the pickup truck. The injuries were not life-threatening.

Anyone with information about Chauvin’s whereabouts is asked to contact Ottawa police.
