Baby’s gruesome death after officers rush to London home over ‘welfare concerns’

A dead baby has been found in London, and police have launched an urgent investigation.

A Met Police spokesman confirmed that officers were called to Taviton Street in Camden this afternoon following reports of “concerns for welfare” before the gruesome discovery was made.

They said: “Police were called to Taviton Street, WC1, to reports of concerns for welfare.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene. A baby was sadly found dead.

“The circumstances are still being investigated.”

The spokesperson said police were alerted at 3:53 p.m.

The Sun has contacted London Ambulance Service for comment.
