One wedding that will forever be a part of pop culture history is that of Victoria and David Beckham. And now the couple have recreated the moment for us all to reminisce about.

Posh Spice and the soccer star—also known as Posh and Becks—were married on July 4, 1999, at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland. The wedding was a lavish but intimate affair, with just 29 guests in attendance—including Victoria’s Spice Girls bandmates Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton(not Geri Halliwell).

The Beckhams wore an incredible ivory look to say “I do,” and later quickly changed into the most iconic bright purple ensembles for the party.

Victoria’s was a purple dress with a vibrant red lining, a rosette-covered shoulder strap, and a high leg slit. She wore it with silver strappy heels that went all the way up her legs. David’s was a silky purple double-breasted suit with a matching shirt and matching suede shoes.

For the reception, the couple reportedly welcomed a much larger guest list of around 230 people. They sat on matching gold thrones and shared their first dance to Frank Sinatra’s “It Had to Be You.”

To celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary, Victoria and David re-wore their purple ensembles, which somehow still fit them perfectly, and shared a photo of them rocking the looks on Instagram. The couple is even sitting on their golden wedding thrones in the photo!

“Look what we found… ,” they wrote in the caption.

A few months before their wedding in 1999, the couple welcomed their first child, Brooklyn Beckham, now 25. They were followed by Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper Seven, 12.
