Regina unveils tourist information kiosks to enhance visitor experience

Tourists visiting Regina, Saskatchewan can now more easily get travel tips and discover hidden gems with the launch of two visitor kiosks, according to a report from 980 CJME. The kiosks are a partnership between Tourism Regina, Tourism Saskatchewan and the Regina Airport Authority and are located in the airport’s arrivals hall and on the ground floor of City Hall.

The kiosks provide information on upcoming events, attractions and activities, allowing visitors to personalise their itineraries. Staffed by tourism ambassadors during peak hours, the kiosks offer a human touch alongside interactive digital displays.

This initiative is aimed at making Regina a more welcoming destination and supporting the city’s growing tourism industry. The kiosks are expected to operate year-round, with summer hours at the airport kiosk from Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“We want people to know how much is happening in Regina,” Jennifer Johnson of Tourism Regina told the news outlet. “On any given day or weekend, there are actually a ton of events and … we often hear questions like, ‘What is there to do in Regina?’ We’re here to answer that question for everyone and we’re really excited to do that.”
